Alive(지킬 앤 하이드)
1. 개요
뮤지컬 지킬 앤 하이드의 삽입곡. 이 문서에서는 Alive 와 Alive(Reprise) [1] 두 곡 모두 다룬다. 레슬리 브리커스가 작사, 프랭크 와일드혼이 작곡했다. 한국판은 이수진이 번안했다. 한글 제목은 '생명 [2]' 혹은 '얼라이브' 이다.
일반적으로 Alive는 The Transformation 다음에 바로 삽입되고, Alive(Reprise) 는 1막의 마지막을 장식하는 곡이다.

3. 여담
얼라이브 1의 마지막 부분에는 승강무대가 사용된다. [5]
얼라이브 2의 마지막 부분에 실제로 불을 붙이는데, 외국 공연에선 불을 하필이면 엉덩이(...) 부분만 나오도록 장치를 설치해 두었다. 한국어 초연부터 지금까지 한국 프로덕션은 불이 몸 전체를 뒤덮는다.
프로덕션에 따라 Alive 가 Alive (reprise) 의 가사를 모두 포함하는 경우도 있다. [6]Confrontation 앞에 삽입되는 곡에 따라서 구분 지을 수도 있는데, Confrontation 앞에 'It's over now' 가 들어있으면 Alive 에 Alive (reprise) 의 가사가 모두 들어있다. 'Lost in the darkness (reprise)' 가 들어있으면 Alive 와 Alive (reprise) 가 명확하게 구분되어 있다.
