1956년 발표된 엘비스 프레슬리의 싱글. Elvis Presley앨범에 수록되었다.[1]

2. 상세

롤링 스톤 선정 500대 명곡에서 19위에 랭크되었다. 모르는 사람이 많은 데, 원곡은 흑인 여성 가수 '빅 마마 쏜튼(Big Mama Thornton, 1926~1984)'이 1953년에 발표한 R&B 곡이다. 이 곡을 만든 유대인 혈통의 작곡 팀 '레이버 & 스톨러'는 엘비스 버전이 크게 히트친 이후 엘비스에게 줄 곡을 몇 곡 만들었는 데, 그 중에 엘비스의 최대 히트곡인 Jailhouse Rock도 포함되어 있다.
당시 빌보드 싱글 차트에서 '''11주 연속''' 1위를 달성하였으나 1958년 빌보드가 개편되어 이 기록은 비공식이 되었다.
