2000년 브로드웨이에서 초연된 뮤지컬 아이다의 넘버. 엘튼 존이 작곡, 팀 라이스가 작사하였으며 조세르 역의 존 히콕이 노래를 불렀다.
작중 라다메스의 아버지이자 이집트의 수상인 조세르는 파라오를 서서히 중독시켜 죽이고 있는데, 라다메스가 원정에서 돌아온 지 얼마 지나지 않아 곧 다시 전장으로 떠나고자 하자 자신의 계획을 돕기 위해 이집트에 머무르길 권유하며 파라오가 곧 죽게 될 것임을 말해준다. 아들인 라다메스를 새로운 파라오로 세우고 왕권의 실세를 쥐고자 하는 조세르의 야심이 드러나는 노래이다.
조세르의 수하로 등장하는 남성 앙상블들의 칼군무와 화려한 조명이 큰 볼거리로 꼽힌다.
