1. 개요
Car Seat Headrest
미국의 인디록 밴드. 2010년 윌 톨레도(Will Toledo)의 1인 프로젝트로 시작되었다.
다소 특이한 밴드 이름은 차 뒷자리에서 보컬을 녹음하던 시절에 결정했다고 한다. 차에서 녹음을 했다는 일화에서도 알 수 있듯이 로 파이 정신에 충실하게 출발하여, 밴드캠프를 통해 단기간에 10장이 넘는 앨범을 발표하며 왕성하게 활동했다. 그러다 2015년에 인디 레이블인 Matador 레코즈와 계약하여 두 장의 앨범을 발표하였고 2016년 여러 매체들로부터 주목받고 있다.

이후 2020년에 신보를 내는데...
망했어요. Hollywood EP부터 불안함을 보니더니 정식 2집 치고 앨범구성으로서도 실패했고, 곡들의 전체적인 음악성도 이전보다 떨어졌다는 평이 전체적으로 많다.
Pitchfork 평점은 6.6,
RYM의 유저 평점은 2.85/5.0.
특히 Hymn은 왜 넣었냐는 질타를 받을 정도로 앨범에서 최악의 평가를 받았다. 그나마 Martin이 호평을 받는 게 위안거리.
