1. 개요
미국 국방부는 국방부 홈페이지에서 주요 미군 장성급 장교의 인사명령을 발표한다. 명의는 각 군부 장관과 참모총장 명의로 나간다. 방위성/인사발령과 마찬가지로 미군의 주요 장성급 장교의 커리어패스를 살펴볼 수 있도록 이 항목을 만들었다.
