1. 개요
Mighty Magiswords
카일 A. 카로자[1]가 기획한 미국의 판타지 코미디 플래시 애니메이션. 텔레비전보다 먼저 웹으로 공개된 첫 작품으로, 웹 단편은 2015년 5월 6일 카툰 네트워크의 모바일 애플리케이션을 통해 공개되었다. 이후 2016년 6월 13일 텔레비전 장편으로 9월 29일에 공개하겠다고 발표했다. 여담이지만, 공식 공개일 전인 2016년 9월 5일에 "Mushroom Menace" 편이 유출되는 일이 벌어졌다. 국내에서는 웹 단편이 2017년 2월 13일에 방송되었으며, 본편은 2017년 3월 13일부터 방송되었다. 연출은 유선주 PD
쌍둥이 주인공인 벰버와 프로야스가 매직스워드라는 아이템을 이용해 어려운 사람들을 돕고 보상으로 또다른 매직스워드를 수집한다는 내용. 매직스워드는 이름은 스워드지만 뭔가를 자르는 부류는 극히 적고 오히려 뭔가를 소환하는 지팡이에 가까운 것이 많다. 심지어 살아있는 스워드도 있다. 매직스워드는 작게 변할 수 있어 평소엔 주머니에 넣어 보관한다.
2. 등장인물
2.1. 주연
- 뱀버(Vambre Warrior)
프로야스의 쌍둥이 누나. 프로야스처럼 충동적이지만, 좀 더 논리적으로 생각하고 덜 순진하다. 뱀버는 동생과 비교해 현실적이고 덜 감정적이다. 이상한특징이 있다면 바지를 싫어한다는점. 이유는 피부가 가려워서 그렇다고 한다. 그리고 다람쥐를 무서워하며 싫어한다는 점. 성우는 그레이 딜라일/최하나.
국내 더빙판에서는 어째서인지 여동생으로 되어있으나 older sister라고 나오므로 벰버가 누나인것이 맞다.#[2] 그냥 국내방영판에서는 설정이 바뀌었다고 보는게 맞을 듯.

- 프로야스 (Prohyas Warrior)
뱀버의 쌍둥이 동생. 마초 기질이 강한 척하지만 힘들거나 슬픈 사람을 보면 본능적으로 도와주는 다정한 성격이다. 돌고래 매직스워드를 선호해서 그가 좋아하는 동물은 돌고래이다. 성우는 카일.A.키로자/김혜성
- 그럽(Grup)
고용 용사들과 같이 사는 작은 드래곤이다. 용사들의 본부에서는 요리나 청소 등의 잡일을 하고 있으며, 잡동사니 동굴에선 보물을 지키는 일을 한다. 목욕을 광적으로 싫어하는데 물을 뒤집어쓰면 죽기 때문이다. 여담으로 그럽을 처음 본 사람들 그럽을 공룡으로 오해받는데, 그럽은 용이다. 그 증거로 그럽 등 뒤에는 작은 날개가 달려 있다. 참고로 '프러그'라는 형이 있다. 성우는 권성혁

- 잰지 공주(Princess Zange)
리보플라빈 왕국의 공주. 공주 신분에 안맞게 스마트폰을 만지거나 옷 쇼핑을 즐기는 등의 십대 소녀적인 면모와 성격을 보인다. 성우는 사문영으로 두건 여인과 성우가 같다.

매직스워드 가게 주인. 상술에 능한것은 물론이고 단골인 용감한 전사들이 그때그때 필요한걸 놓치지 않고 팔아서 이익을 챙기는 등 뼛속까지 장사꾼 기질을 보인다. 워블을 키우고 있다.

용사 남매의 친구인 마녀. 어드벤쳐 아카데미의 입학 시험에 붙지 않아 공식 마녀가 아니지만 입학을 위해 힘쓰고 있으며 등록금 마련을 위해 달팽이버거에서 알바를 뛰고있는 전형적인 생계형 마녀이다. 고용 용사들과 함께 모험을 하면 흥분해서 사고를 치는 일이 잦다. 꼬맹이라고 불리는걸 엄청 싫어한다. 성우는 이명희

- 모비디아 & 가토(Morbidia and Gateaux)
번번히 남매에게 시비를 거는 라이벌 해결사 팀 위치웨이(Witch Way)의 멤버들. 학창시절부터 남매의 라이벌이었고 임무가 겹치는 경우도 있다. 일반적으로 모비디아가 말을 하면 가토가 끝말만 따라하는게 특징이지만 모비디아가 시켜서 하는것이기 때문에 가토 본인은 별로 원하지 않는듯하다. '시몬은 못 말려'라는 에피소드에서는 모비디아가 위치시몬을 위치웨이 멤버로 받아들인적이 있었는데, 덕분에 낙동강 오리알이 된 가토가 그 일을 되돌리기 위해 용감한 전사들을 찾아가 부탁하기도 했다.
- 노히야스(Nohyas)
프로야스를 사칭하는 의문의 흉내쟁이. 아이들을 바꿔치기하고 증거를 없애는 포드족이라고 한다. 손에는 뱀버처럼 꾸민 인형인 손뱀버가 있다. 용감한전사들의 카피캣인만큼 동일한 능력을 갖고있어서 가장 싸워서 이기기 힘든 상대이다. 성우는 위훈.
- 옴니버스(Omnibus)
가끔씩 남매에게 물건을 찾아달라고 의뢰하는 마술사. 때를 가리지 않고 나타나서 남매들을 자주 당혹스럽게 하며, 머리와 몸통이 따로 논다. 성우는 위훈
- 워블(Wobbles)
나뭇잎을 달고있는 점액질 생물. 원래는 프로야스가 키우려 했으나 말버릇[4] 때문에 랄피오가 키우기로 했다. "뭐야"라고 하면 두 개로 분열고,[5] 샴푸라고 하면 하나로 결합된다.

캐릭터 디자인이 슬레이어즈와 비슷하다. 커뮤니티에서도 두 만화가 서로 만나는 팬아트들을 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있다. 리나 인버스와 뱀버는 머리띠, 빨간 눈, 커다란 구슬 귀걸이, 허리띠, 부츠, 망토, 가우리 가브리에프와 프로야스는 길게 내려온 앞머리와 푸짐한 목도리가 비슷하다.
Game Grumps의 애린 핸슨이 가토를 비롯한 여러 조연들 성우를 맡고 있고, 같은 Game Grumps 멤버이자 Ninja Sex Party의 보컬인 댄 아비단이 메인 타이틀 곡을 불렀다.
[1] 제작자일 뿐만 아니라 일본 특촬물 덕후이기도 하다. 자신의 트위터에 가면라이더 시리즈 팬아트도 그리기도 했다. 참고로 작중 등장하는 브로콜리 펀치의 모티브가 가면라이더인것도 이런 이유인 듯.[2] 서양권은 한국과 반대로 나중에 태어난 아이를 첫째로 친다는 이야기가 있어 순서를 바꿔버렸을 가능성이 있긴한데, 과거에는 그랬던적이 있는것 같지만 요새는 다 먼저 태어난 아이를 첫째로 친다. 링크의 트리비아 부분을 봐도 "프로야스보다 먼저 태어났다"고 되어있다.[3] 그러나 말이 개지, 실제로는 공룡에 렉스토퍼의 조카다.(!!!)[4] 뭐야?(Hey!)[5] 우연이지만 발음이 완전 똑같다고 한다.[6] 카일 A. 카로자의 덕질을 한눈에 알 수 있는 캐릭터로, 애초에 카일 본인이 특촬 덕후이기도 하다.[7] 1번째로 사용한 것은 갈고리&접이식 사다리 매직스워드.
